Circadian clock is a young but experienced five piece rock band with intensive classical training. Officially formed in September 2008, the band’s progress has been rapid. While the mix of styles when heard weaves together the influences of Latin music, funk, classical and rock, at a first glance, the band is a seemingly randomly assembled group of perfect strangers. A punk Black and Japanese violinist who wants to be a singer (Vile), a feminist Puerto Rican drummer (Wes), a polka loving Mexican bassist video game nerd (Charlemagne), an anime obsessed hyperactive classical pianist(Ayumi), and a silly light natured guitar tech (Arcody), at no point seem to share anything in common. You would be right, but they do like the music they make together.

It all started by chance, or perhaps fate, when Wes and Vile attended the same music summer camp, began a discussion about Vile’s gothic pants, and after several years became best friends. Charlemagne was by chance sitting on a rock and playing bass, and happened to become an irreplaceable asset to the band. Wes, continuing to attend music camp, found Ayumi for an (unfairly difficult) recording session, and by fate we all ended up becoming close. Arcody was brought along to hang out with Vile one day, and on a later day, a decision was made to bring him into the fold. Talented, young, classically trained and driven, a goal has been set up by Circadian, and it will be met, or there will be hell to pay.

"Niche? They want us to appeal to a niche? They simply then don't know what we do. What is it that we do? We do what we want!" - Ayumi, Keys.
